Privacy Policy

Family Command Center is a private, noncommercial household application intended for use by its owner and authorized family members.

Information and permissions

Family Command Center may request permission to access information from services that the owner explicitly connects, including Google Home. Depending on the permissions granted and features enabled, this may include information about the home structure, connected devices, device states, and the ability to send authorized smart-home commands.

How information is used

Connected-service information is used only to provide dashboard functionality requested by the household, such as displaying device information, showing device status, or carrying out an action initiated through the dashboard. Family Command Center does not use Google user data for advertising, profiling, or sale.

Storage and security

Authentication credentials and access tokens used by the locally operated dashboard are intended to remain on systems controlled by the application owner. Reasonable measures are used to limit access to authorized household use. No internet-connected system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Sharing of information

Family Command Center does not sell personal information or Google user data. Information may be transmitted to the connected service provider when necessary to perform an authorized request. Information is not intentionally shared with unrelated third parties except where required by law or necessary to operate a service explicitly chosen by the owner.

Google user data

Use of information received from Google APIs will comply with applicable Google API Services User Data Policy requirements. Google data is accessed only after authorization by the Google account holder and only for the functionality enabled by that authorization.

Revoking access and deletion

The Google account holder may revoke the application's Google access through their Google Account security and connections settings. Locally stored application credentials or data can also be removed from the systems operated by the application owner.

Children

Family Command Center is not offered as a public service to children. It is a private household system administered by an adult account owner.

Changes

This policy may be updated as Family Command Center features or connected services change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
